The Prayer Manual is now in its fourth (and likely final) edition. Since it's first edition, many updates, changes, corrections and additions have been done. A year of revision has made this third edition much more complete than the previous two. And while I'm sure some mistakes remain, many of the previous errors have been found and corrected, Allahu 'Akbar.
As importantly, much has been added to it. What was already a large section on the Salah is now even larger, with more instruction, details and resources. I've also added eight (8) full pages on Ramadan, the fasting, Tarawih and Zakat. I've even doubled the length of the story of Sidi Abu-l-Hasan ash-Shadhdhuli's life, may Allah be pleased with him.
All told, there are more than 12 new pages of material.
I've also layed out the form differently so that it would be easier to follow for someone reading English, transliteration or Arabic. This layout difference, combined with some differences in the typefaces I used and the overall page structure, allowed me to only increase the physical pages by 6. So while the manual doesn't appear, on paper at least, to be much larger, by content is certainly is.
Trade-in Program Details
On a trade-in basis only, the Prayer Manual is available at half the full price. Meaning, the trade-in price is $20.00, (plus $5.00 shipping and handling).
To get the trade-in price, you need to do the following...
- Contact me directly about trading in your old prayer manual.
- Send your old prayer manual along with a check or money order.
- Once I receive both your old manual and payment for the discounted trade-in price, I'll send you the new manual, by first-class post within 48 hours
- You receive the new manual and enjoy the changes and updates.
Please do not send your manual with payment without first contacting me. I want to be able to get the new one to you as soon as possible and can't guarantee that if I don't know it's coming.
As this question has been asked already I should answer it here...You MUST send your copy of the previous version of the Prayer Manual in order to receive the newest edition at the discounted rate. Of course, you are welcome to keep your older copy and purchase the new edition for full price.
I'm sorry, but I can make NO ACCEPTIONS to this policy, so please don't ask. I'm offering the trade-in as a option merely as an option for those who wish to have the most up-to-date edition of the manual without having to pay full price.
For those who have made notes in their manual and don't want to loose them, I suggest photo-copying the pages you made notes on so you can retain copies of them to use with your new edition when it arrives
